Central City Concern – Blackburn Building

Central City Concern’s mission is providing comprehensive solutions to ending homelessness and achieving self-sufficiency. It meets this mission through housing, healthcare, employment and peer relationships. The non-profit organization was founded in 1979 and helps approximately 14,000 people every year. In the Gateway area, Central City Concern (CCC) owns and operates the Hazel Heights Apartments, located at 126th & SE Stark, and the Eastside Concern program at 1949 SE 122nd Avenue.  In July 2019, CCC will open the Blackburn building at 25 NE 122nd Ave (at east Burnside).  The building will include a corner retail or café space (tbd, currently seeking optimal business tenants), primary care clinic, pharmacy, substance use disorder treatment and mental health services. (Eastside Concern will move to the Blackburn building.) Wellness services (such as acupuncture)  and employment assistance will also be available.  Translation services will be available for non-English speakers.
